Many credentialed providers are working at BAMC for far less pay than they would at the VA (for the same grade/step). I know of one example where a GS13 is paid 15% less than at the VA. For FERS employees, will those employees who contribute 0.8 or 3.1% of their salary toward their future pensions continue to contribute at the same rate, or will they have to contribute the 4.4% rate of employees hired after 2014?
