I also found this project by chance and I can say that it has been one of the best chances for me and my students. As soon as I showed them the project, they felt very touched and were eager to take part and so were other teachers and students at the high school. Teaching a language does not only deal with language skills, culture, ... it also promotes human values and makes us think. Dear Ana, I really admire you for having had this wonderful idea and I can't thank you enough for allowing us to take part in it and contribute a little bit to make Rebeca happy.

Taking part in this short-term project has made my day! I found it by accident and I knew instantly that I had t contribute! Unfortunately I only found out about this fantastic project during the last week prior to Rebeca's Birthday - on the Wednesday, to be more precise! Ana accepted my request to join in (cheers, Ana! :) ) and so I had ONE day to explain the project to a PIEF class, prepare a little something something and send it by post on the same day! It was crazy but the students were extremely touched and adhered instantly! We managed to put together a really colourful HAPPY BIRTHDAY banner and we were really proud to see it above Rebeca's head when she blew the candles on her Birthday cake! It's difficult to explain how good it felt, how warm it got inside us when we saw THAT smile on her face! Thank you all for being so involved in helping Rebeca celebrate life! <3
