Sell it to a private developer. The fact it is a historical landmark will ensure the posterity and integrity of the building will remain intact. There are great ideas that have been made, but this purely an economic decision. The town would not have the means to renovate and maintain the building

One idea I had in mind was a deaf, hard-of-hearing school for those who live in Bridgewater or nearby towns cannot travel far to TLC, Framingham or READS in Middleboro. I know it has to go through town, etc. Just a thought.

I think the idea of a community center for all citizens of Bridgewater is a great idea. A place where young or old you can go and participate in activities and where part of the school is redone to provide an area or areas for parties, meetings and any group activity. the seniors have a center but it would be nice to have a place where an art class for children or adults including senors was held. I would rent a room to teach software programs.
