I would try to use Endomondo app when having a bicycle ride or a long walk with my students. Then we would see the distance the route and the average speed.
it is for FREE. https://www.endomondo.com/

I'm a religion teacher and I like plays for brainbraking or to stimulate teambuilding increasing the sense of feeling good in the group. I find out that Just Dance is excellent there fhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIPiBK3uTI0or.
JUST DANCE: It can be used in music and sport lessons. It also seems like having fun and collaborating when they are in a group dance

By integrating movement games in the classroom should always take into consideration the educational goal of the game. Such games may be developed in physical education classes.
Well, again Google. Of course they are not the first or maybe yes but what is important it is the way they adapt the project to them. I am talking about Google Fit a way to monitorize all your mouvements in order to control everything that can be good for exercises. i mean: walking is an exercis...more

I haven´t used any mouvement game in my classroom, but I think I could create one without a Wii or a Xbox. I could conceive a mouvement game with grammar. While I'm reading a text, students should get up when they hear a noun, they should jump when they hear a verb... and so on...

Pros: I think movement games are good not only for the class of sports but also for Physics. Some games has to do with forces applied to bodies to reach the spot or how to move the body so a higher speed can reach. It is very attractive for the class.
