Global awareness is understanding that we are not the only people on the planet. It is understanding that people come from different backgrounds with different cultures, and if we want to be a part of this world then we have to engage in comprehending these various cultures and backgrounds.

Global awareness is being aware of the cultures and societies that exist around the world, and how they influence the world. Also, global awareness consists of understanding the economic, political, environmental and social factors that are based around the cultures in different areas of the world.

Global awareness is understanding that there are a variety of cultures around us. It is understanding that there are ways that are different than our own and we need to respect that and learn about that. Having a understanding of the different cultures around you helps you to be more aware of the world.

Global Awareness in its most basic form is an understanding of the world around you. It encompasses many aspects that includes the geographic area, terrain, climate etc. which then subsequently drives the different cultures that ultimately propagate and flourish under conditions they come to understand. By understanding these various adaptations to the many local conditions/nature we become more globally aware and culturally sensitive.

Global awareness is the concept of recognizing the perspectives, ideas, beliefs, and cultural differences in comparison to your own. It is being able to understand the reason for another culture's beliefs and practices and how yours are similar or different. Global awareness is also being able to relate to and apply other perspectives from around the world to your own life.

Global awareness is a responsibility of every person to acknowledge and embrace people of other cultures, races, ethnicities, religions, socioeconomic statuses, etc. It's also about realizing that diversity should be encouraged, not discouraged. If everyone was the same the world would be a very boring place, what makes us different is what makes us who we are.
