Bring businesses and community groups/charities together to support each other... offering beneficial social impact to businesses alongside marketing goops and incentives for volunteers to be rewarded
by Maggie
this can be supported with new models of commissioning
Go to them. Community conversations. Build trust. Develop the potential that already exists. Focus on what’s strong and not what’s wrong. Small steps. Ownership.
Get people out of cars, walking/cycling for short trips fosters much greater sense of community and connection.

Identify a free community space in each local area where information, connections, fun can all be had- coffee shops and service organisation buildings are fine but the places need to feel owned by the community and run by the community ideally. and free to be at- coffee shops cost money.

Provide some help to create professional posters to promote things of community interest. In my area, we have a street-residents-pub-trip and it'd be great to open these types things up

Each day I pass a note on my windowsill saying create and contribute, it helps me notice opportunities to do just that and is a good reminder. How about artworks made by local people with kind reminder phrases?
