i definietly agree that burning books burns people. when you burn a book, a book iws written by a person, then you are essentially burning their ideas and without ideas and perspectives then we re nothing. I think that in the end, burning books does lead to burning people. Books are people's thoughts and ideas put on paper. So, when you burn them, you are essentially destroying their ideas. I agree with this quote because if someone does burn a book that's like burning someone. That book can be what they practice or believe in. I agree with this entirely. If you burn a book, you burn a persons ideas along with it. Agree because if you burn books, then burning the books doesn't accomplish everything after a while. You start keep taking a step up until you want to burn the people. They did this during the holocaust because they started burning the books, and then ended up burning people(Jews).

Maybe someone won't want to give up their ideology, and maybe they aren't forced to, at first. However, when you take away books, ideas, things that govern people's culture, you leave room to for post-modernism to stick its foot in and make people forget how to live..

In the United States, classical books are being censored. They are not allowed to be printed or sold. We have people in critical positions that have no allegiance to the Constitution. The generations after the baby boomer generation generation will live in the Divided States. As one that was born in 1953, I see it happening right before my eyes.
