Today is Dog Day (inu no hi) in Japan. What is your favorite dog character and why?

The sound a dog makes in English is "woof woof" or "bow wow" but in Japanese, it's "wan wan." The three ones in the date "Nov. 1" sounds like a dog barking, so it was chosen for Dog Day in Japan.
